Sarah Melenka

Sarah studied massage therapy and acupuncture at MacEwan University and personal training at NAIT, where she was also a volleyball player for the Ooks team. Her training includes orthopedic evaluative testing, manual muscle testing, postural assessment, and advanced needling techniques. After experiencing compartment syndrome in 2014 requiring ten surgeries and resulting in 30% muscle deficiency, Sarah went on to compete for Canada's women's sitting volleyball team at the 2019 Parapan Am Games, 2022 World Championships, 2023 World Cup, and the 2024 Paralympic Games.
