HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE TYPICALLY NEEDED?

This is a difficult question to answer as everyone is different. Some conditions can be fully resolved, while others may require ongoing care with maintenance treatments. In general, 3-5 treatments about a week apart are needed to get a handle on the chief complaint. Once the patient is happy with the progress made, we will typically begin to space the treatment frequency out towards a maintenance routine. Maintenance treatments are typically every 4, 5, or 6 weeks. However, some people will decide to come weekly or biweekly, and others will opt to come only as needed with no set routine. We will work together to create a plan that works for your body, schedule, and wallet.

WHAT DOES ONE TYPICALLY DO DURING AN INFRARED SAUAN AND COLD PLUNGE SESSION?

A well known neuroscientist Andrew Huberman, recommends contrast therapy as a powerful tool for enhancing overall health and well-being. He suggests alternating between cold exposure for about 3-5 minutes and heat exposure for 15-20 minutes for several rounds to stimulate various physiological responses in the body, leading to a range of benefits.  Other people will opt to stay in the cold plunge for up to 10 minutes then finish in the sauna. Feel free to spend your time in the room as you wish!
