Student MOT/Receptionist
Student Manual Osteopathic Therapist
Sophia is a student Manual Osteopath, expected to complete her program in October 2025. She is trained in osteoarticulations, myofascial remodeling, craniosacral and lymphatic drainage and will incorporate visceral manipulation techniques as she progresses in her schooling.
She graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelors of Kinesiology, deepening her understanding of human movement and rehabilitation.
Growing up, she was involved in many sports and even traveled to Utah to play rugby. After experiencing multiple injuries, and undergoing treatments, she developed a deep appreciation for health practitioners' and their role in pain management and recovery. This experience sparked her interest in helping others navigate their own rehabilitation journeys, leading her to pursue manual osteopathy.
Now, she is dedicated to helping others reduce pain and improve their well-being through a hands-on approach that integrates biomechanics and manual therapy.
Outside of work and studies, Sophia enjoys camping, gardening, snowboarding and spending quality time with family and friends.
